Llangatwg school has excellent facilities from which the children benefit from, recently the new fitness suite has opened which offers state of the art cardio/vascular machines plus for the more serious athlete high tech weight machines. The general public can also take advantage of the fitness suite with it being open 2 nights a week on a monday and wednesday.

Llangatwg also boasts a heated indoor 15m indoor swimming pool where the children can learn to swim or take part in numerous activities which are on offer at the school. Other facilities include a flood lite astroturf, gymnasium, two rugby pitches, netball and tennis courts.

 

As Llangatwg is a community school as well as the fitness suite most other facilities are open to the public or may be hired. If you are looking to learn to swim then Llangatwg is the place to learn, the pool is run by solutions and run classes for beginners through to competent swimmers. The astroturf and gymnasium are both let out by the hour and can be booked through the school office.
