During Key Stage 3 you are entitled to partake in opportunities in
the PSE programme that will help investigate the World of Work.
Our school works in close partnership with Careers Wales to offer
you a comprehensive programme of activities in the areas of CEG and
WRE that will help prepare you for the world of work, or further
education and training.
Staff will also work in partnership with your parents/guardians who
will be invited to an evening meeting to discuss your progress in
subjects and your personal development
You will also be provided with opportunities to receive advice,
information and guidance from your Form Tutor, Careers Teacher and
your Careers Wales Advisor.
They will talk to you about a number of issues:

types of jobs or training that might be available to you in the
future |

how you
can develop your skills, abilities and interests to help you
choose the right pathway in Key Stage 4. |

find careers information about different courses, the
qualifications you might need and what opportunities there might

A programme of Work related events has been devised in Years 7 to 9,
so that you can gain the knowledge and skills required to
confidently tackle the future.
